Join SALT as we lunch in Wilmington and then go to Thalian Hall to see Pay the Writer. Laugh along with a fresh new comedy/drama focusing on the complicated relationship between a legendary literary agent and his best friend-turned-most-successful client. Fresh from an acclaimed 2023 Off Broadway debut, this dynamic, socially intuitive play explores how an artist’s life is controlled by their calling and talent. This Wilmington production is presented by special arrangement with the play’s author, New York Times Best Selling Author Tawni O’Dell, who is presently preparing a rewrite of her original material in preparation for the play’s move to Broadway later this Fall.  Departure time is 10:30, we will have lunch in the downtown area (on your own), and the play begins at 3:00.
