During our tour of Hopsewee Plantation, learn the rich history of this property, birthplace of Thomas
Lynch, Jr., one of the signers of the Declaration of Independence. The plantation dates from around
1740 and is now a National Historic Landmark. Following our tour, we’ll enjoy a delicious lunch at the
River Oak Cottage Tea Room, located on the property. This tour includes the house tour, Gullah
