Description

The South Carolina Cotton Museum takes you through the full history of the state’s cotton culture from the early days of the cotton boom to the modern cotton industry. Displays include original tools, textile machinery and even a contemporary crop-duster that hangs above the rest of the exhibits. Following our tour, we’ll have lunch in Bishopville. After lunch we’ll head to┬áCovered in Cotton, a locally owned business that has been in Darlington County for three generations.┬áTheir mission is to cultivate cotton products, share their wonder of agriculture, and contribute to a cause that tells a story and shares hope. Lunch on your own. Departure time is 9 a.m.
