

Trapper Fowler
Trapper Fowler is a Horry County native. He holds a B.S. in Fish, Wildlife, and Conservation Biology from Colorado State University as well as a M.S. in Wildlife and Fisheries Biology from Clemson University. Working as a field biologist gave him great appreciation for non-charismatic species such as amphibians/reptiles and carnivorous plants as well as the management tools used to maintain their habitat such as prescribed fire. Trapper is a Certified Wildlife Biologist®and worked for SC Dept. of Natural Resources for six years before joining the Coastal Conservation League as a project manager in July of 2021. Trapper strives to promote smart development, environmental justice to underserved communities, and conservation of coastal SC’s most valuable natural resources.
